Robot-run shops, energy-generating tiles, and delivery robots are highlights at the new Hive 2.0 showcase at Esplanade MRT station. Launched by SMRT’s Stellar Lifestyle, the space features local startups, a co-working kitchen, and a high-tech gym.
At South Beach, QuikBot robots now deliver 7-Eleven purchases like snacks and drinks directly to office workers. Orders are placed on the QuikBot app, and the robots navigate autonomously.
This service is part of Hive 2.0 at Esplanade Xchange, showcasing tech-driven retail like 7-Eleven’s cashier-free store with AI tracking and Mr.R Robotics’ automated product pickup. QuikBot plans to expand locally and to cities like Dubai and Tokyo.
